Update and Anatomy study

So, in the past mounths i worked as freelance on an upcoming  iOS mobile game for Empire Studios but i'm still under Nda and i will not be able to show anything antill the release (soon).
In The meanwhile i want to post a recent work i made as study of the human male anatomy. hope you like it :)

Power Girl Update

UPDATE 29/03:

resculpted the head and rebake it. right now i'm using diffuse/normal and spec (1 tile) but i think i'm going to make a gloss map to have a better control.
The model in the picture has 5500 triangles but i'm going to add more subdivisions to hands and arms (the rig right now doesn't deform very well) :)


Finished the retopo and bake. Now it's time for texturing (and panels for the hair).

this is just the raw polypaint with normal map (no spec)

worked of the head today while watching The Avengers on the second monitor...and this is what came out °-°

ArenaNet Internship selections 2014 Character Test

Started texturing. i'm still working on the diffuse map (with some test on the specular map on the upper armor parts).


This is my character for the internship selection at ArenaNet. Although i'm aware that to get the internship as europen citizen i need to be allowed to work within the U.s. i decided to give it a shot. (You never know)

I'm currently working on the small details (legs folds, decorations etc.)
the final model will have to be within 7k tris with one texture 1024x1024 (diffuse, normal, spec)

Boob...ehm..PowerGirl WIP

PREVIOUS 02/24 :
Worked on the head this week end.
female characters are really hard to do. The face was a pain but after a saturday of "nothing-goes right-with-zbrush" i'm quite happy with the result.

Today i took a break from the comicon and i played a bit with this character (started from the previous female body).

hair and cape are painted over a base mesh (still working on them within Zbrush)
